The Original Cone Company is a labour of love; an Australian family owned manufacturer of ice-cream cones. We’re a small business driven by the desire to remind Australians of the joy of eating an ice-cream cone. We see it on people faces -the young and the young at heart- as they eat our cones- its pure childlike happiness and its pure satisfaction for us. Our story was born from a man named Pat Amuso. He spent 35 years in Australia and offshore perfecting classic confectionary before deciding to turn his passion into his own business. Today, you’ll still find him baking and perfecting the cones himself along with a growing team of cone enthusiasts.

While days are spent innovating, prototyping and scribbling recipes, we are committed to maintaining the integrity of our classic cones. Our cones taste like how you remembered them as a sticky-fingered gap-toothed child because why mess with something so good.

We bake our cones for the big and small.
We supply retailers and wholesalers with a wide range of cones. Plus, we come armed with cups, spoons and all the knick-knacks you need.

At the Original Cone Company we believe in paying homage to the humble cone. Our recipes are simple, free from any preservatives, no added sugar and anything your grandma wouldn’t recognise. At its core is flour and natural sugar, not much else. Our ingredients come from our backyard; they’re Australian and real.

Not many would find baking cones rewarding and joyful. We think we’re the exception. Every step in the baking process, from sourcing our ingredients to our packaging, is made with an attention to detail that only a true enthusiast is capable of. We would love to share more about how we get the right amount of flavour and crunch but we’re sworn to secrecy, sorry it’s just a family thing.
